Narlıdere is within the borders of the main city. It is surrounded in the west by Güzelbahçe, in the east by Balçova, in the south by Menderes and in the north by the Gulf of Izmir.

Narlıdere has gained the characteristic of a settlement where the areas of prestigious houses are being increased rapidly. About 1500 houses in the district are heated by geothermal energy.
Konak is the largest district which is located within the borders of the main city. The Gulf of Izmir and Karşıyaka in the north, Bornova in the east, Buca and Gaziemir in the south and the district of Balçova in the west surround the district.

Being the symbol of independence not only of Izmir but also of our country with our flag put to the flagpole on September 9, 1922, the Government House is located at the Konak Square.
Having been a meeting point since its construction, the Clock Tower is located at the Konak Square.
It is characterized by the artifacts carried from the ancient times to the present, by the artifacts of the Ottoman period and, most of all, artifacts from the Republican Period.
Since Konak is the culture, art and entertainment center of Izmir, it is a much-frequented place for all the foreign and domestic tourists.
Beydağ is located on the south-east of Izmir and the surface is 184 km2. The altitude is 223 metres and the district is 142 km from İzmir. It is bordered by Nazilli to the east, Ödemiş to the west, Ödemiş-Kiraz to the north, Nazilli-Sultanhisar to the south.

Beydağ is one of the oldest settlements on this region. The first name of the district is Peliapolis and the history goes back to 3000 BC. There is a castle in Beydağ from Byzantium times.
According to the 2000 Census, there are 14.147 people living in the district.
The income of the people depends on agriculture and animal breeding. The important plants are fig, chestnut, olive, watermelon, reddish bean, potato, wheat and barley. Besides them, vegetables and fruits are cultivated.
